After not even three full months of "trying", Seth and I are officially pregnant!! For the past several days, I have had some symptoms that made me think I could be, but I can honestly say that this morning's test was still a BIG and HAPPY surprise! I don't think that the news has fully "set in" for either of us.
We went to ABF and church today and survived our first test of not spilling the news to our friends there. However, I know that this will be a tough secret for me to keep as I tend to wear EVERYTHING on my sleeve! The fact that we will be parents THIS YEAR (Seth estimated the due date to be Dec 8) is really hard to believe. We have wanted a baby for such a long time now and can hardly wait to hold our little one in our arms. I am 4 1/2 weeks along and feel great! I will keep praying that I continue to feel this way, but know that morning sickness and all those other not so fun symptoms are very common. For now, I just can't keep from smiling as I think about all the changes that are to come. Seth and I are so very blessed and give God the glory for this new little life I'm carrying! What an AWESOME GOD we serve!!
